Rhabdomyolysis

Rhabdomyolysis is skeletal muscle breakdown releasing myoglobin, causing AKI. Causes: trauma, statin myopathy, exertional, seizures, drugs. CK >1000 U/L. Aggressive IV hydration prevents AKI.
